What a debut by Heather Thompson, who at only 12 years old took the Lady of the Match award in the Ladies B with a hard fought 3-2 win and a cracking 17.70 average! Not to be outdone, brother James, himself only 14, secured the Mens B Man of the Match award with a similar 3-2 win and a superb 25.11 average!
Congratulations also go to Becky Barrow and Kelly Welsh who both won on their Leicestershire debuts!
Undoubted highlight of a generally disappointing Sunday was Gaz Cousins up against Jamie Lewis, 1st versus 2nd in the averages, with Jamie leading the way in first place. This didn't stop Gaz taking the win and now top spot in the averages with a 3-2 win, hitting an 11 darter and a 120 out to win the match on his way to his second succesive 32 county average, this time a 32.33. Well done Gaz, awesome!
